Originally hailing from the North East, you’ve kind of been adopted by Manchester, which could be seen as a good or bad thing – which is it for you?

Oh, definitely a good thing. The comedy scene here is amazing, there are gigs on every night of the week somewhere or other and clubs like the Frog do everything they can to push through new talent, they certainly did with me. And th...more >

Your daily show on Key 103 is pretty much the one-stop-shop for festival facts and info. How do you feel about being our unofficial voice?

It lightens my dark soul, provides some relief from the pain and suffering I go through, for you, my audience.

What with the climate and that, Manchester is a bit rubbish sometimes, do you think that’s why have such a buoyant com...more >

Hello Lee ,we know all about you, but why not fill everyone else in with who you are and what you do?

I'm the director of Gag Reflex Management which is an agency I set up four years ago to promote the wealth of Northern talent we have up here. I'm also the General Manager of the award winning Frog and Bucket Comedy Club. I'm a Virgo and I want world peace.

Knackered; I've just slept on a toilet floor in a hotel in Kent

You’ve just released a dvd, did you do anything especially for it like get your hair done or buy some new socks?

Weirdly in a way I suppose I am. But treading ground that was walked in the last century. The idea was to reclaim the toothbrush moustache for comedy as Chaplin had it first and then Hitler came along and ruined it for everyone. But the more research I do the mor...more >

Your shows often have concepts that might be perceived as “a bit clever” – do you think your intelligence scares people?

I think it says more about what is deemed clever nowadays rather than what I talk about. I think some audience members in the average club may switch off when they hear "Charles Darwin" or "politics", but hopefully as I am enthusiastic rather than intelligent, ...more >

Hello Seymour, how are you?

I’m fine thank you, how are you?

Good thanks. You’re putting yourself about a bit this Festival, how many shows are you appearing at?

I’m afraid I can’t remember, I’ll have to have a look at the brochure. When will it be coming out?

Very soon. We’ve noticed you’ve started doing the odd quiz – do you fancy yo...more >

You’re a Manchester based sketch troupe and despite your enviable youth have found great success. What’s your secret?

Why thank you! The prospect of poverty is always a good motivator...we do try our best but am not quite sure how we ever get anything done, as being in a group of six does mean there is always someone who needs to go to the toilet.

You have a regula...more >

Hello, how do you do?
Not so bad. I'm not sure I can ever be truly happy - like going down a waterslide happy - except for fleeting moments, but if it stays like this, which is just contentedly sitting in a chair with a cup of tea happy, I'll be pleased enough.
